Brooks Stairlifts is the trade name for Acorn Stairlifts. When Acorn sell stairlifts to trade customers they use the Brooks branding. When Acorn sell direct to the public they use the Acorn Stairlifts branding. The stairlifts are exactly the same. The Brooks stairlift is a simple lift which has been designed to be inexpensive to build and with reliability in mind.

Handicare manufacture a range of stairlifts to cater for all needs and budgets. They make internal and external stairlifts, and have various options available such as retractable rails and swivel seats. Handicare stairlifts are used by Companion Stairlifts and Age UK Stairlifts, in fact these are just brands they use to sell directly to the public.
